Business.com

What Business.com is

Business.com does not lend, and it does not fund anything. It is a review and comparison site: it researches business products and services, including financing, and points readers toward providers.

Its own description of the work is "Our dedicated experts research and test SMB solutions so you can make smart, confident decisions," in service of helping "business owners make informed decisions to support and grow their companies."

That makes it the least lender-like partner in the network, and the distinction matters enough to lead with.

How it is paid, in its own words

Business.com publishes its commercial relationships plainly, which is worth repeating rather than paraphrasing:

"We have financial relationships with some companies we cover, earning commissions when readers purchase from our partners or share information about their needs."

It adds: "These relationships do not dictate our advice and recommendations. Our editorial team independently evaluates and recommends products and services based on their research and expertise."

We are quoting both halves because both are its position, and a reader deciding how much weight to give a comparison site is entitled to the disclosure as well as the reassurance.

What it covers

On business financing, Business.com reviews and compares term loans, lines of credit, SBA loans (7(a), Express and 504), merchant cash advances, invoice factoring, equipment financing, microloans, working capital loans, bridge loans, revenue-based financing and business credit cards.

It publishes no products of its own, no eligibility requirements and no rates, because it has none. Everything it covers belongs to the providers it reviews.

What this means if you reach Business.com

You would be reaching editorial comparisons rather than an application. There is no underwriting, no decision and no offer at this step. Anything that follows happens with a provider you choose from what you read.

If what you want is a decision on your business, a direct funder is the more direct route. If what you want is orientation before applying anywhere, a comparison site is built for exactly that.

TopFunders is not a lender and not a loan broker, and neither is Business.com. Being matched is an introduction, not an approval. Nothing on this page is an offer, and details are subject to change.
