Editorial Standards

Last updated: May 2026

TopFunders.ai publishes guides about small business loans to help business owners make informed funding decisions. Because the topic is financial, accuracy matters. This page describes how our content is researched, reviewed, and kept current.

Who writes our content

Our articles are produced by the TopFunders Editorial Team, a group of writers and reviewers with experience in small business lending, financial publishing, and lender operations. Articles are not generated by AI without human review.

Every article passes through three steps before publication:

  1. Research. A writer drafts the article using primary sources (linked below).
  2. Fact-check. A second reviewer confirms every number, rate range, and timeline against the cited source.
  3. Final review. An editor checks for clarity, accuracy, and that the article actually answers the question a real business owner would ask.

Sources we rely on

For factual claims about business lending we cite primary sources:

How often we update articles

Business lending rules, rates, and lender criteria change. We review every article at least once a year, and immediately when a major change happens (for example, SBA program updates, new federal disclosure rules, or significant changes in lender pricing).

Each article shows the date it was last published. If the article makes claims about specific year (such as "in 2026"), we re-verify those figures when the year changes.

Corrections policy

If you spot an error in any of our articles, please email contact@topfunders.ai with the article URL and the issue. We will review within 5 business days. Verified errors are corrected with a note at the bottom of the article explaining what changed and when.

Editorial independence

TopFunders.ai is paid by lending partners when a matched business gets funded. This is how the service stays free for business owners. Our editorial content is independent of this commercial relationship:

  • Lenders do not pay to be mentioned in our articles.
  • Lender names appear only in factual context (for example, comparing SBA-approved lenders).
  • Our matching algorithm decides which lender we send each business to based on the business profile, not on partner payments.

Who we are

TopFunders.ai is operated by Funding Holding LTD. We are a loan matching service, not a lender. Full company information is available in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
